Japan Smart Chain (JSC) will join ETHTokyo 2025 as a Platinum Sponsor, held in Shibuya, Tokyo from September 12–15, 2025. As web3 developers and innovators gather, JSC will run the following.
Presentations and workshops
On the main conference day (September 12), JSC will host a presentation. On the first hackathon day (September 13), we will hold a workshop where you can try the JSC Testnet and Mizuhiki Identity firsthand and see how compliance-first tooling applies to real use cases.
Hackathon
The EthTokyo hackathon runs September 13–15. We will support builders on the JSC Testnet “Kaigan.”
Theme: Compliant ticketing and DeFi using Mizuhiki ID.
Prize pool: US$3,500 total
- Ticketing application — US$1,500
- Privacy-preserving DeFi application — US$1,500
- One special award — US$500 for an idea that strongly resonates with JSC’s mission even if not fully built out
Beyond cash, winners may pitch JSC founders and investors shaping web3—a path from a weekend project toward something commercially viable.
Booth and community
We will host a booth: join the hackathon or follow JSC on X and Discourse for original JSC swag. Team members will be on hand for ideas, feedback, and questions.
Building together
Through Japan-sovereign blockchain infrastructure and the modular trust suite Mizuhiki, JSC aims to lay the groundwork for a new digital society. ETHTokyo 2025 is a chance to share that vision and start new collaborations.
